Overview
Earl Kendrick is a consultancy working across surveying, structural engineering and the wider technical side of the built environment. The expertise was established and the reputation was strong. Growth was arriving through referral and relationship, which works until it becomes the only route in.
NXRD was brought in to build the commercial marketing layer around that technical authority. The engagement covers the strategy, the website, the digital and paid programme, the email activity and the social approach, alongside ongoing consultancy that keeps all of it accountable to pipeline rather than output.
Technical consultancies tend to have the same problem. The knowledge inside the business is the product, but very little of it reaches the market in a form a prospect can assess. Earl Kendrick had depth, a serious client list and a genuine claim to authority in its disciplines, and almost none of that was visible before a conversation started.
Activity was also disconnected. Content, email and digital ran in bursts when there was time, with no strategic thread linking them and no reporting that tied any of it to enquiries won. For a business with growth ambition across several service lines, that made marketing impossible to plan or defend at board level.
Marketing consultancy
NXRD provides ongoing marketing consultancy across the business. That covers direction, priorities, budget allocation and performance reporting, with activity measured against enquiry quality and commercial objectives rather than volume. The value is as much in the decisions not taken as in the work produced.
Website rebuild
NXRD rebuilt the Earl Kendrick website in full. The new structure leads with the technical disciplines and the sectors they serve, giving each audience a clear route to the relevant capability instead of a general overview of the firm. The content system was built so the team can publish articles, award announcements and updates directly, keeping the site active as an authority asset rather than a static brochure.
Digital marketing strategy
We set the digital strategy before rebuilding anything. This defined the priority audiences across managing agents, freeholders, developers and professional referrers, which service lines to lead with in each case, and how the website, content, paid activity and email should work together to generate and nurture demand.
Social strategy
We set the social approach and the content framework behind it, defining what the firm publishes, in what proportion, and to which audience. The aim is consistent visibility with decision makers and referrers in the sectors that matter, built on the technical knowledge the business already holds rather than generic industry commentary.
Email marketing
We plan and produce the Earl Kendrick email programme, including regular newsletters and campaign activity. Each send is built to keep the firm visible with existing contacts and professional referrers, carrying technical content in a format busy readers actually get through, with messaging and design running straight from the wider strategy.
